Turning Point Educational Trust
Turning Point Educational Trust a non-profit organization, was founded with the vision to promote innovative solutions to education challenges and inspire actions that create sustainable future for children. Slum children’s opportunities to learn are being threatened due to various reasons and we work to stimulate a learning environment that provides knowledge and skills. We operate in Chennai’s largest resettlement slum in Kannagi Nagar and Perumbakkam through Motivation and Learning Centers and direct community interventions.
Society for Education and Action
Society for Education and Action Shortly know as SEA, is a Non Governmental Organization located in Mamallapuram in the Tamil Nadu region of India. SEA wsa founded in the year 2000 by a community of development workers and young people from 32 local fishing villages in and around the area. SEA has mainly been working for Children’s Rights, Education and Protection.
Pardada Pardadi
Founded in the year 2000, Pardada Pardadi Educational Society or PPES has been working towards holistic rural development through social and economic empowerment of women and girls in Western Uttar Pradesh. PPES provides free education, job opportunities, healthcare, and livelihood enhancement for girls and women from the marginalized sections of society and enables them to break out of poverty.
Shishu Shakthi
Shishu Shakthi is a non-profit trust operational since 2005 and works with children from the slums of Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. Shishu Shakthi is involved in sponsoring and educating over 200 under-privileged children and their goal is to empower every child to realise their dream. Shishushakthi believes through education, every child builds their self worth, allowing them to power their in-born talent, ultimately securing their future.
At Nia, we believe that empowering young women goes beyond sponsoring education. It’s about providing the guidance and mentorship they need to succeed. This shared vision forms the foundation of our partnership with I Believe I Can (IBIC). IBIC is a vibrant community committed to supporting women at the grassroots level through empathetic mentoring, skill development, and career guidance. With programs ranging from one-on-one mentoring to workshops and networking circles, IBIC helps women unlock their potential and pursue their dreams. Together, we aim to inspire, uplift, and create a brighter future for young women everywhere.
